Is your racking protected

Does your racking comply with the latest HSE guidelines. The 2007 warehouse guide issued by the HSE states:

 

"Where racking is likely to be hit by lift trucks or other vehicles, it should be protected."

 

This is particularly the case when buying secondhand racking. Be careful though make sure you buy a protector that meets the FEM test which is the recognised european standard.
